Vitaly Gunaza was born in 1980 in the Pskov region, Russia. Then, together with his family moved to St. Petersburg, later - in Zaporozhye (Ukraine), where he received a secondary art education. After graduation, he moved to Belarus. From 2001 to 2007 he studied at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts at the Department of Painting. From 2008 to 2011 he passed an internship at the Creative Academic Workshops of the Ministry of Culture. Participates in exhibitions of city, republic, international since 2001. Participates in exhibitions and creative symposiums in Belarus, Germany, Russia, Lithuania, Serbia, Armenia. The artist's works are in museums and private collections.
The artist works a lot in the studio and in the plein air. In his paintings, the most common are landscapes and city views. However, he also creates beautiful portraits. The painter has his own unique style, based on the traditions of realistic art and the light influence of impressionism.
